Damn is it Friday?
Wow I can not believe that I haven't posted in 2 days while I was home! I must be busy huh? Woke up this morning, checked the weather, like I do every morning I am home, and saw this:
I think when I go outside, I will bundle up eh? We are burning through the wood much faster than I expected considering we are coming into March. I hope I have enough on the porch to keep us going until the snow starts to melt. I am not too fond of having to dig the firewood out of the snow and trudge through to the porch every weekend. Oh well, if it has to be done, it has to be done.
I worked on my newest thing here: Shadowes Pics a place where I can park my pics to link over to this blog. At least this way everything here is content based rather than a mix of pics and such as well as personal posts. It was worth the effort to do it, now I have to load it up with the pics that I want to post. Ah the life of bloggers. So rich and bountiful.
I took some time yesterday and made a trip to the city to buy a small computer desk for the wife and I. We really needed something to clean up this corner we have in the room that was just a pile of crap and music equipment. I thought a tidy workstation would be an excellent idea. Here is it complete (gets up and take picture):
I like this setup a lot. It makes a lot of sense to me. I can sit and play my music, or on the computer right there in one spot, and if you look carefully, under my computer on the desk, is a drawer with my wifes computer on it. So I can just grab mine and walk away when she needs to use it. We share the space and it works nicely.
I am going to go get my fathers violin today I think. I can go up there anytime after 2pm and grab it. It would be a nice little side trip and then it would be here when and if my brother shows up this weekend. We have been planning this for a while. I want to give Dad this fiddle since he has mentioned it a ton of times and i think it would be a great thing for him to be able to sit and play with us sometimes. He used to play a lot back when he was young, and what a nice idea to have the whole family jamming together! I love the thought.
Well I think that is all for now. I am going to get some more coffee, sit and veg, play a little guitar, and just relax today since there is nothing going on for me. My Mrs. is working this weekend both days so if I think of something I missed, I will certainly have the time to post it.
