Playing the waiting game.

You see these? These are empty trailers. There is no freight in them, they aren't going anywhere. They are just there, waiting for someone to load them and send them on their way. Their mission is to move things from one place to another place safely and to make their owners and drivers money in the process. These trailers just sit there though, waiting and wondering when they will again travel the roads... Get the idea what is happening to me today yet?

I have sat on my butt for most of the day. I called in this morning to get my load and leave the house. I was told to call back in a few hours, there was no freight. Two hours later, I am told the same thing. They know that I have to be back Thursday night to get my physical renewal for my license, so they are starting to sweat. by lunch time, they are freaking out. I call in, they still have nothing so I voulneteer for a half - turn. I am told that is what they have been looking for~! What does that all mean? Unless something drastic happens, I will be home for a week without pay. Oh well.

I guess that means I will just be kickin' back and havin' me a few brews with the squirrels then doesn't it? They are good company you know that? I sit here, less than 10 feet from them while they spaz out all over the bird feeder that is outside my window. I should post some good pics I have of them here to share. I really do enjoy their company.

Squirrels? Wow! We don;t that those little critters over here, and I've never actually seen one. Mind you... a possum decided to hiss and spit at me right outside my bedroom window at like 11pm last night... the bastard scared the carp right out of me, it was so unexpected! hahahahaaa

Hope that business is booming soon. My husband had jobs that he would have to call into and he hated it.
